Covid Elopement Wedding | Hycroft Manor, University Women's Club of Vancouver

Small yet intimate.  When there is love, you really don't need much else but just a few of your closest loved ones.  That's what our lovely couple did to celebrate their union in style at one of our favourite venues, Hycroft Manor.  Beautiful vows were written along with a traditional cultural poem read by the grooms mom. The lovely ceremony on the terrace overlooked the mountains for a fairytale backdrop.  The bride was serenaded by her groom with a love surprise love song for such a sweet moment. It's the little things that make love so special and we're happy to have been a part of it.

Covid wedding | Hycroft Manor | Elopement Micro Vancouver Wedding

As the Officiant and Wedding Planner, I worked closely with our clients to help them navigate through the Covid restrictions.  After 3 dates and many changes, we managed to make this wedding happen. Our bride and groom were so brave and grounded as we worked through the challenges.  I (Dennis Bellia) was honoured to serve as their wedding officiant while my wife Jennifer Bellia served as the Day of Coordinator and sound technician. The backdrop was the lovely Hycroft Manor at the University Women's Club of Vancouver followed by a short photo session at Queen Elizabeth park.  Our clients taught us that when there is love and determination, nothing can stop you from having a dream wedding.

Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, North Vancouver | Rooftop Terrace Ceremony

​A two time award winning wedding venue, the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier is one of our most regular wedding venues.  We loved celebrating with Jane and Vincent on this lovely August day.  However, the morning weather jeopardized the celebration but it certainly didn't stop them.   We started off with an adorable first look session at a remote forested location in the rain which eventually cleared up for the end of the photo session and the rooftop ceremony overlooking downtown Vancouver.  Their reception was full of laughter.  Vincent presented his new bride with an adorable photo of the two of them as seniors as a way to proclaim a lifelong union.  It was a heart warming moment.  Such a great wedding and couple.

Rachel & Michael

Michael, a USA Marine married his Canadian love, a Rachel. We had fun incorporating their military theme into the video. Rachel did such a wonderful job with subtly including camouflage into various items such as her hair clip bow, garter and dress. The spectacular setting at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort was stunning as usual!

Cancer couldn’t stop this wedding | University Golf Club, Vancouver, BC

What do you do when the love of your life is diagnosed with cancer? Well, Chris decided to marry her! That's not quite the order as Chris and Gloria were engaged to be married when she was diagnosed with cancer. With wedding plans well underway, deposits paid and guests expected from out of town they decided to go for it! Gloria courageously went through her aggressive treatment all the way up to the wedding date.

They didn't know if she'd have the energy for a wedding celebration and had a tentative back up plan for a more intimate wedding at the house if she didn't have the energy for it. Thankfully, love persevered and they were able to have their wedding surrounded by close family and friends at the beautiful University Golf Club. Despite having lost all her hair as a side effect to the Chemotherapy, Gloria wore an attractive wig for the big day. As a sign of confidence and grace, Gloria removed her wig and danced to her favourite dance songs played by our DJ. They had a morning wedding and luncheon reception but still enjoyed a great daytime dance party to celebrate. Their wedding perfectly suited their personalities. They are very down to earth and personable and not flashy at all. They did away with many of the traditions and focused on the love, community and family & friends that attended. It was raw, emotional and very powerful.

We felt so honoured to be a part of it and felt a tremendous amount of love and respect for Gloria and Chris' journey. We are thankful to have been a part of it. Congratulations on your courage and strength which will carry you both forward in your lives together.

Vancouver Club | Vancouver Catholic Church Wedding | Italian wedding

​Absolute elegance and beauty for this lovely wedding.  It started off at a Catholic Church for a traditional wedding ceremony followed by bridal party photos and an incredible reception with the most beautiful decor and decadent food at the glorious Vancouver Club.

Vancouver Wedding Video | Croatian Cultural Centre & St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church

Amanda & Mark were brave and challenged the rain head on in this gorgeous March wedding.    Although it rained for many days leading up to the wedding, the clouds parted and the sun shone through for the majority of their photo session.   We didn't do the photography as we were the videographers.  Although the footage turned out to be so amazing, we had to share a few screen captures with you.   

After their beautiful catholic ceremony at St Francis of Assisi Parish, photos were taken at various locations around Vancouver, BC.  They took advantage of the beautiful cherry blossom trees that were perfectly in bloom at this time of year.   We also took advantage of some of the beautiful architecture that downtown Vancouver has to offer including Yaletown Roundhouse and the Marine Building.

Vancouver Jewish wedding | Pan Pacific Hotel | Annie & Corey

Croatian Wedding | Catholic Church Wedding | Croatian Cultural Centre, Vancouver

​Croatian wedding at it's finest!  The energy was high and the alcohol was flowing.  Music, dancing & drinking set the tone to this epic day.   It all started at the brides house in the morning with some fun cultural Croatian bartering where the groom needs to buy the right to marry his bride.  The festivities were only the beginning.  We saw tears, laughter, lots of dancing and drinking!  If you've never seen a Croatian European wedding, then you must see this!  Dynamic Weddings is a Vancouver wedding videography company.

Country wedding at Maan Farms | Sunflowers | Jana & Jon

​It's hard to beat a beautiful farm wedding at the lovely Maan Farms Country Experience & Estate Winery. They had a lovely gazebo against the rustic barn later used for dinner and dancing. Photos options were abound especially with the amazing sunflowers prime for the upcoming sunflower festival. The adorable goats made a short appearance for the cutest photo segment we've seen in a while. When they say that she's a beautiful bride, Jana Rae is probably the image of that beautiful bride. She looked stunning in a dress form our favourite bridal shop Lisa's Bridal Salon and Jon rocked a suit from Moores. Capilano Golf & Country Club Wedding Video | Kathy & Greg

It's hard to beat the stunning scenery of the lovely Capilano Golf and Country Club located in North Vancouver, BC. Kathy & Greg were fortunate enough to get married on the patio overlooking the golf course on a beautiful sunny day on Labour Day long weekend. They incorporated their religion during their ceremony including it's music. We all had a blast playing games and dancing right to the end but not before some emotional and touching speeches and a cornucopia of mouth watering food fare from the venues caterer. A great day had by all.

Justin & Millcent

Wow, what an amazing day!   Justin & Millcent's ceremony took place on the lovely great lawn in the gardens of  VanDusen Botanical Garden where they celebrated with a touching ceremony complete with live music followed by a lovely reception in the floral hall.  We were super lucky to provide all 4 of our services to this fun loving couple, Justin and Millcent on their amazing wedding day.   They danced all night long to our DJ's top hits and took so many hilarious photos in our photo booth.   All their amazing moments were captured by our two photographers which we happily shared last month.   They always say that you saved the best for last and we sure did so in this case.   We, at Dynamic Weddings, are so proud and honoured to present this amazingly funny, romantic and light hearted video montage of Justin and Millcent. Melodi & Chris

Meadow Gardens Golf Club was the setting for this gorgeous wedding. The golden arches brought this lovely and romantic couple together. This fry guy was no Hamburgler in Melodi's eyes. He was more like prince charming as evidenced by these romantic photos. Although there was a lot of rain in the forecast on this day, the golden arches provided enough shelter for some great pics and video! 

Michelle & Mark

While accompanying a friend at the hospital, Mark noticed somethings special about Michelle and left his info for her.   Of course, Michelle played hard to get for a while but Mark's Portuguese charm motivated Michelle to give him a shot.  All it took was one date and Marks take of "Love at first sight" and they became inseparable, except fora  3 week preplanned trip Michelle had.  Every morning, Mark would send her a message while she was away and has kept up that tradition daily until now.   They didn't take long to immerse themselves in each others family, 2nd date to be exact!   They immediately felt like they knew each other forever, and now they will.   Michelle has a love for vintage stuff as identified in their decor and save the date video which you can see here along with their wedding trailer which will be posted in the near future.

Save The Date Video

This video is soooooooo cute! It's our first ever "Save the date" video for Mark & Michelle and it's hilarious! It's full of humour and set to both a 1920's classic theme transformed into a colourful and modern, love inspired celebration of an engagement! It's a must watch!

This lovely couple had an amazing day at the beautiful Westwood Plateau full of dancing and fun in our photo booth.  Check out this fun and gorgeous couple. 

Charmaine & Richie

Two doctors who met while attending UNBC tied the knot on a glorious sunny day in Vancouver at Harbourfront Pinnacle Marriott, with stunning views of Coal Harbour. Charmaine was stunning in a summery lace and satin gown, and Richie was looking quite suave in his white tuxedo jacket. Their one year old son, Emery, was sporting a matching jacket, and was quite debonair himself. After the ceremony we headed down to the seawall for a fun and playful photo session. Over 350 people were in attendance, and everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner, featuring many Indian dishes and two roasted pigs! As soon as the music started, the dance floor was packed, and DJ Jim kept it like that for the rest of the night. The day couldn’t have gone any better!!! Ceremony & Reception venues on the water are hard to come by, until you visit the beautiful UBC Boathouse, a venue we selected in the top 5 for 2014. Check out this video to see why.  You'll also see the sparkle in both Wil & Amanda's eyes as they are clearly ga ga over each other. 

Jenn & Scott

Jenn & Scott were married at the lovely Langley Golf & Banquet Centre followed by a beautiful reception with amazing food! We loved the colourful (purple is my daughters favourite colour!) attire and decor. The heartfelt speeches really pulled at your heartstrings and the lovely foliage and grounds proved an amazing spot for great pics. Enjoy!

This couple makes us smile...a lot! Especially Joel, the hilarious groom. You'll see why when you hear a segment of his speech at the beginning of this montage. They had a lovely wedding at the beautiful Langley Golf & Banquet Centre where they always do an amazing job!
